FRENCH TWIST Local Collaborative Arts Ballet Company Premiere of Ballet Evolution

Dates: October 9-10
Time: 7:30pm
Location: Sottile Theatre
44 George Street, Charleston SC 29401

Ballet Evolution brings a new artistic voice to Charleston audiences with a diverse opening season. This ground-breaking arts organization is designed to act as a hub for the creation of new dance works and musical compositions. The season opener debuts an exciting evening of original choreography, superb set design by Buchanan Arts and live jazz ensemble (featuring UNED!TED artists) that transports you to a vintage European jazz lounge. Experience the plight of an emerging lounge performer and see how a Twist of fate can make or break a star on the rise. The stylized choreography of Ballet Evolution choreographer Jonathan Tabbert melds with Schoenfield’s Café Music and Bolling’s Jazz Suite for Violin to offer a taste of Parisian night life.
